Enclosure for chemotherapy preparation

The diagram below, shows another chemotherapy preparation method which might be safer than laminar hoods.

All preparations are carried out within this sterile enclosure with a technician placed in the centre of the enclosure wearing a protective 'diver-like suite' and who dispenses all of the 'ready for use' preparations. The computerisation and traceability offered by this system guarantee the quality and security of preparations.
