T1a Cervix Uteri carcinoma

Invasive carcinoma diagnosed only by histology. Every macroscopically visible lesion should be classified T1 b.

We distinguish between:

T1a1 where stromal invasion is limited to 3 mm in depth and 7mm in width

T1a2 where depth invasion is between 3 mm and 5 mm.
