Bone metastases


Examining an X-Ray should also include examining the thorac wall.

For instance, see the rib lysis (here the 5th right rib on this X-Ray picture borrowed to Rennes Univesity, the 4th rib on the nearby diagram), potentially associated to the disparition of a vertebral pedicle or a vertebral crushing as on T7 (on the diagram).

Other metastatic sites are the scapula, the clavicle or the vertebrae.
